Recognizing our safety leaders
Do you have a worker or co-worker who demonstrates strong commitment to safe work? Are they a safety leader who makes others aware of workplace safety and health?
Each year WORKSAFELY recognizes an individual who raises awareness of workplace health and safety among their colleagues, every day.
The WORKSAFELY Safety Leader Award recognizes an individual’s dedication and outstanding contribution to health and safety in the heavy construction industry in Manitoba.
A nominee must:
- Be employed by a member, or associate member, of WORKSAFELY
- Demonstrate commitment to providing a safe and healthy workplace for all workers through the identification, communication and control of hazards
- Act as an advocate for safety among fellow workers
The WORKSAFELY Safety Leader Award will be presented at the 2019 Safetys Gala event, Sept. 26, 2019.
