BACK TO YOU: DON HURST
Safety managers and leaders often go unrecognized. A lot rests on their shoulders, with responsibility for an ever-growing list of safety and health issues and government regulation. And we think that should be recognized.
We want to celebrate individuals in the heavy construction industry who best demonstrate leadership and vision in the world of workplace safety and health. That is why WORKSAFELY® launched its Safety Leader Award in 2017.
WORKSAFELY® is looking for candidates for the next Safety Leader, and we’re asking for your help.
A nominee must:
- Be employed by a member, or associate member of WORKSAFELY®
- Demonstrate commitment to providing a safe and healthy workplace for all workers through the identification, communication and control of hazards
- Act as an advocate for safety among fellow workers
If you know someone who fits this description and would be a good nominee, please contact Sarah Craig at email@example.com. The deadline for nominations is August 10, 2022.
