Join a one-day job fair at the Victoria Inn Hotel & Convention Centre on Monday, May 6 2024. This event is designed to be fairly low-key and will give you the chance to meet and recruit skilled workers looking for construction industry jobs in Manitoba.
To attract job-seekers, this job fair is being promoted to over 45 organizations, including colleges, school divisions, Indigenous organizations and newcomer servings agencies – and anyone else who is exploring a new career (or change) in construction.

Mark your calendars for the 2024 Manitoba Safety and Health Week launch, an annual occupational health and safety celebration led by the Manitoba Safety and Health Week Planning Committee. The week is an excellent opportunity to focus, reinforce and strengthen your organization’s commitment to workplace safety and health.
2024 event details
This year’s Manitoba launch will take place on May 6, 2024 from 8 to 11 a.m. at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights with a special lineup of keynote speakers and dignitaries. The event will feature a presentation by Wendy Hofford, as well as guest speaker Joe Paulich who will share his story of resilience and the importance of safe workplaces.
Each year, the Safety and Health Week Engagement Award recognizes an organization that engages their employees and the public through safety and health initiatives. The winning applicant will be presented this award at the 2024 Safety and Health Week launch.
