Year of the pandemic: our industry worked smarter, safer
2020 marked a challenging year for all of us during the COVID-19 pandemic. The heavy construction industry has seen a significant shift that will change how we work for the foreseeable future. MHCA WORKSAFELY™ worked with our companies to adapt and keep our industry working and safe through the year; we will build on this in 2021.
As we approach the close of 2020, I want to thank all in our industry and our staff at MHCA WORKSAFELY™ for all their time and effort undertaken working to make heavy construction workplaces safer across the province. We look forward to working with you in 2021.
The MHCA office will close for the holidays at 12 pm, December 18th and reopen at 8 am January 4, 2021. The safety advisors and I are available during this period and can be reached on our cell phones, at any time should you have the need to do so. You can find our contact information here.
